This is a stone-carving story where fantasy and reality merged in a stylized image of an African elephant made from natural moss agate. The stone pattern -“plants” and tonal transitions resembles landscapes of the savanna with dry ground under the scorching sun and thickets of thorny shrubs.
The author’s series of stone-carving works “Wobbling Africa” are fictional, fantasy animals. They contain the rotation element, which has already become a recognizable “handwriting” of the author, found in other works.
