Thirst

Material: obsidian

Length: 225 mm

The scorching sun and the exhausting heat of the desert dried up a surface of the stone forming a crust with cracks. A reminder of the moisture that once existed is a shiny drop of water. It evaporates quickly leaving salty circles on the surface. Everything is waiting for the rain.

The author expressed his idea about abstract concept thirst in a completely substantive stone-carving sculpture.
