Rodeo

Materials: fluorite, smalt, haematite

Height: 340 mm

The author’s sculpture “Rodeo” is the fury of a wild bull frozen in the stone plasticity at the moment of an 8-second unpredictable dance with a rider. A tight braided rope pulls the animal’s body, the breath gets faster and becomes heavy. Its nostrils expand and the eyes fill with blood. Mad bull can’t wait to throw off and pierce the brave man in the hat with its huge horns. But the bull fury is only benefit for the fearless cowboy.

Brutal, strong and sometimes hypertrophied plasticity created the bright expressive image with lively emotions.
