Fritillaria

Materials: obsidian, jade, quartz, garnets

Height: 245 mm

A charming yet simple flower, similar in appearance to the tulip, but with the bud downward.

Obsidian that is used for making the flowers of the rock-cut fritillaria lets the light pass through its petals, thus creating a feeling of a living bud. The heterogeneity of the stone’s color accurately conveys the peculiarity of the flower, which is expressed in the variegation of its coloring.
