Barin woke up

Waking up for dinner after a night of playing cards at the English club, barin reaches for the bell and shouts: “Pierushkaaaa! Come here!” – a servant is running at his call. He is holding a tray with a glass of vodka, on the other hand there is a silver fork with a pickled cucumber. Pier, a French servant, knows the manners of his barin and fulfills his desires in advance. The author’s bronze sculpture “Barin woke up” is an ironic sketch on the theme of Russian life in XVIII-XIX centuries.
