“Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?” – and held out the forbidden fruit to Eve.

This is exactly the moment that is expressed in Sergey Falkin’s new bronze work. The moment when the figures of the forefathers of the humanity were tightly intertwined with each other, with the serpent – the tempter, the forbidden fruit, and faced with a choice. The heroes of the sculpture need only one moment to make a decision that could turn out to be fateful.
