“Enki”

Enki is a new author’s composition of the stonecarver of our workshop Alexander Shiryaev. The ram’s head on the top of a column represents one of the main deities of the Sumerian Pantheon, the ruler of the ocean and the fate. A stylized image of the mysterious mythical Guardian of the foundations of civilization stands on the column – a symbol of the world axis and harmony in the Universe.
The spiral horns of Enki, resembling water streams, fascinate with the depth of smoky color and transparency. And at the same time, contrasting with the ancient column, where the smallest inclusions and opaque “curtains”, small cracks and fractures of the mineral that formed in the bowels of the earth for millions of years echo the artistic idea of time, wisdom and purity.
