The floral composition “Strelitzia” is a complex stone-cutting work, where all details are made only of natural stone: a Belorechensk quartzite fan with bright petals break through a jasper bud proudly stretching out on a nephrite stem.
Strelitzia fascinates with its beauty, resembling a Firebird frozen in flight, the rapid flapping of its wings, like a game of flames, abruptly flares up and then fades out.
“Bird of Paradise” was an inspiration for the creators of the movie “Avatar”, with a similar colorful bloom in the flora of the fictional world of Pandora.
